The purpose of this committee is to welcome new users to our community and make them feel welcome and at home.

• Help new users in #please-read accept the rules and pick pronouns and roles
• Welcome new users in #lobby with a mention, welcoming to the community
  • Example: Hey @newuser welcome to Trans Advice! So glad you could find us!

IRC

• Welcome users when they land in the #global-lobby
  • Example: Hey newuser welcome to Trans Advice! So glad you could find us!

All communities

• Help answer any questions a new user might have, make sure they know about our website TransAdvice.org if they have questions about the community
• Let new users know they can join our meetings if they want to volunteer: Main.CommunityMeetings
