Goals

Why are we at this meeting?

• To create a safe space for t* people and their allies for advice and support, with a resource directory, wiki and chatrooms
• To find out more about this place
• To help plan and build the resource directory, wiki, and peer-to-peer support network.

Agenda

• The agenda is to be posted to the next meetings notes in advance. Anyone is free to update it.

Categories

• Add a section on voice.
• Change TransAwareness? to Awareness
• Add a MentalHealth category, this can cover topics such as Suicide Prevention.

TSSupport archive

• Manual process, contact someone in #stuff to find out more.

Resource directory

• Needs more volunteers and submissions, help get the word out! Submission form is here: http://transadvice.org/civicrm/profile/create?gid=16&reset=1

501(C)(3)

• It is time to start filling out the paperwork
• This is estimated to cost us ~$1000 bucks (more research required).
• We need a MissionStatement.

Youth

• We are not set up to handle an influx of youth currently, this needs to be talked about more.
• Maybe we should set up a #youth with a 13->19 years old limit?
• A policy for this needs to be written
• We need a privacy policy

Misc

• Use mod_rewrite for cleanURLs.
• MediaWiki? instead? Add to next agenda
• A !ops or trigger to contact staff
